UK University offers Nigerians, others fully-funded scholarships 

Scholarshipsbox.com has good news for Nigerians and other international students seeking scholarship opportunities in the United Kingdom (UK), as the University of East Angila (UEA) calls for applications into its fully-funded scholarship program for the 2024-25 session.
The Norwich-based university, which made the scholarship opportunities announcement on its official website, explained that each of the would-be beneficiaries of the scholarship programme will be entitled to travel costs of £4000 which is equivalent to 5.3 million naira.
Also, it added that each of them will have access to £33,150 (N44.3 million) worth of scholarships.
In the same vein, the successful applicants will also be entitled to postgraduate researcher stipend, which will be made known later after admissions have been successfully granted. According to the available information, postgraduate researcher stipend for the last academic session was £18,622.

 Who can apply for the scholarship
 The fully-funded scholarship tagged, David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health, is offered to international students who intend to have a Masters degree in Plant and Health.
To be eligible to apply for the full scholarship, interested person must be a citizen or resident of a least-developed country, low income or lower-middle-income nation as may be defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2024-25 academic year.

“The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) offers the prestigious David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health to a limited number of applicants on the MSc in Global Plant Health.
“You are eligible for a full scholarship under these terms if you meet all these criteria: You are in receipt of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health; You are a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country or territory as defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2024-25 academic year
“There are a limited number of scholarships available, and these will be awarded throughout the year, so you are advised to apply early.”
In addition, the university explained that successful applicants who are able to meet the admission criteria will be eligible for receipts of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health.
Moreover, the school added that there will be an update on additional scholarships that will be shared on its website, May, 2024.
